CapitaLand Development has announced that JCube, a popular retail and entertainment hub in Singapore, will close in August 2023 to make way for a new residential development. The announcement brings to an end the long-standing presence of JCube and its contribution to the Jurong East neighbourhood.

JCube was opened in 2012 as the first retail and entertainment hub in the area, offering a wide range of retail, leisure, entertainment and dining options to meet the needs of the surrounding community. It has since become a popular destination for shopping, dining and entertainment for locals and tourists alike.

The new residential development, to be called JCube Condo, is planned to be an iconic and luxurious residential project that will be built on the existing JCube site.
